How to talk about your grant from Capacitybuilders

As new opportunities emerge for the third sector to provide increasing levels of vital services within our local communities, it is more important than ever to talk about the positive effects of Capacitybuilders’ funding.

Share, Connect, Learn at Improving Support

Improving Support provides ways for support providers to find and share resources, connect and learn with each other. As a Capacitybuilders’ grant holder, we encourage you to register as a member of the Improving Support website and us it to share information and resources, find best practice and research, and make contact with other support providers sharing similar interests.

Improving Support is facilitated by Capacitybuilders and is a key element of our commitment to promote shared learning and best practice to improve the quality of support and advice provided to third sector groups.

How should I use the ‘funded by’ logo?

As a Capacitybuilders’ grant holder we ask you to acknowledge this by using the ‘funded by’ logo on all communications materials generated as a result of this funding.

Logos are available to download on the right of this page, and some basic guidelines are below.

Website
www.improvingsupport.org.uk provides ways to share resources, find best practice and research, and make contact with other support providers sharing similar interests.

Magazine and e bulletin
An Improving Support e bulletin regularly highlights resources in the website, and an Improving Support magazine shares insight about topics which matter to support providers.

As a Capacitybuilders’ grant holder we encourage you to register as a member of the website. From Autumn 2010 you will be able to upload your own resources directly into the website. Whilst optional, we also encourage you to use the Improving Support logo on your communication materials where practical, to help raise awareness of Improving Support amongst other support providers.

The logo can be used on materials including websites, email signatures, brochures, press releases, reports and adverts. A copy of the logo can be obtained by email info@capacitybuilders.org.uk

Positioning

The logo can be positioned wherever it fits within your overall design. Please be careful not to squash or alter the proportions of it. If there is no space for the logo, then please use the following wording: Funded by Capacitybuilders (note: Capacitybuilders should always be written as one word, with a capital C).

The logo can be used on materials including websites, email signatures, brochures, press releases, reports and adverts.
