Julia Kaufmann OBE has been working as a freelance Consultant with small, voluntary organisations, specialising in governance, strategic planning and project development since 2000.
She is currently trustee of the EDF Energy Trust and a member of the Charities Aid Foundation Grants Advisory Council.
She was previously a part-time Commissioner at Postcomm (the postal services regulator), Senior Consultant to Partners in Evaluation, the first Chief Executive of the BBC Children in Need Appeal and the first Director of Gingerbread.
