Since our launch in 2006, we have invested over £70 million to help increase the third sector's ability to create a better quality of life for individuals and communities.
Improving Support
All of our funding enables organisations to improve the level of support they offer to voluntary and community organisations, allowing them to concentrate their resources on their core activities.
Strategic delivery
ChangeUp is a strategic development programme with specific funding attached.
We use our grant programmes strategically to develop new support mechanisms, stimulate improvements in support services and help to lever other funds.
Delivery channels
We have two main delivery channels to improve the infrastructure support for voluntary and community organisations:
- consortia, or regional, sub regional and thematic support networks as they are also known
- national support services

Our budget for the next three financial years is £88.5 million.

All of our funding programmes and work activity directly relates to our objectives and vision for the future as outlined in the Destination 2014 delivery plans.
These next two phases of work will build on progress made, as we learn from reviewing funding programmes and testing new approaches.
