Learning from the journey so far
Four years into ChangeUp, Capacitybuilders has the opportunity to apply its learning to invest resources where they will have the most impact. This includes:
- retaining the focus on investing in change rather than ongoing funding of support services
- getting the balance right between working with general and specialist support providers.
Capacitybuilders’ Corporate Plan for 2008-11 sets out our priorities and objectives for the next three years in the context of the Government's Third Sector Review and renewed investment in the ChangeUp programme of £88.5 million for 2008-11.
Facing up to the challenges
The plan sets out how we intend to meet these challenges in the context of reduced overall resources, building on our progress to date and developing a role as:
- a strategic and engaged funder, investing in change
- a learning agency supporting capacity building in the third sector
- a valued and influential partner to the third sector and government agencies.
